13-03-2009 Supporting Bill Chambers and Kevin Bennett

Michael Muchow is ready “Rock” as he will be joining leading blues/roots and alt country exponents Bill Chambers and Kevin Bennett as special guest on the Queensland leg of their tour. Chambers and Bennett bounce off each other easily, swapping song for song and line for line, throw Muchow into the mix for an opening set and as a guest on a few songs and your bound to be in for a great show.

The first gig kicks off on the Gold Coast at the Arts Centre on 19th March. Then They’re heading up to the Sunshine Coast at Joe’s Waterhole Eumundi for the 20th and finishing up at the touring hot spot, Pioneer Village Country Music Club on the 21st.

Michael is no stranger to either of these guys, in 2008 Michael made his first cut on the Flood’s 4th Studio Release “Everybody’s Favourite” With the Muchow/Bennett co-write “Serve you well”. Michael is also a regular member of the Bill Chambers band getting to travel and do some great gig’s one not so long ago at the acclaimed Adelaide international guitar festival.

After growing up from a strong country music back ground there was never a doubt that Michael was born to make music. “Muchow” picked up the Guitar at the ripe age of 6 and has been bound to it since. Which lead him to win his first Golden Guitar in 2003 at just 17 years of age along with friends Michael Fix and Benji Pocock for instrumental of the year.

Michael had a blast at this years Tamworth Country Music Festival playing with his favourite artist Bill Chambers every day at The Pub on Gunnedah Road. He was also on a high after guest appearance with The Flood at one of their gigs at the Tamworth Hotel. Michael had a successful festival playing showcases and guest spots.

06-12-2008 Michael plays Adelaide Guitar Festival

December saw budding guitarists and music fans flock into the South Australian Capital, for the Adelaide Guitar Festival where Michael Muchow had the privilege of playing with Bill Chambers.

His highlight of the trip was watching and meeting the inspiring musicians from the Derek Trucks band.

Michael Muchow Queensland Gold Medallion Award nominee for musician of the year. Radio presenters and high profile industry personalities from all over the country nominate there top 5 country artist and tracks.

20-04-08 Michael Supports The Flood

Michael Muchow joins The Flood's Queensland Tour to promote there brand new album "everybody's favorite". Michael co-wrote track 8 titled "serve you well" with Kevin Bennett

26-01-2008 Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist

2008 Kicked off to a great start as Brisbane Boy Michael Muchow as he makes the top 6 grand finalists in the Toyota Star Maker Competition. Although he didn't win, Michael was a stand out showing his true musicianship and "Star Quality".
